The Quiet Abundance of "Autumn's Harvest"

There is a specific kind of silence that falls over a farm in late October. The frantic energy of the growing season has passed, the air has turned sharp, and everything slows down to the pace of a deep breath.
I painted Autumn's Harvest (20x20, Acrylic) during the tail end of 2023 to capture that exact moment of stillness. I wanted to focus on the textures that make this season feel so grounded—the rough weave of the wicker baskets, the heavy weight of the heirloom pumpkins, and the vibrant, stubborn life of the mums and violets tucked into the corners of the display.
To me, this piece isn't just about pumpkins; it’s about the reward of staying the course. It’s a reminder that even when the world feels fast and loud, there is peace to be found in the simple, honest beauty of the land’s bounty.
Autumn’s Harvest is looking for a home where it can bring that sense of warmth and steady peace to a room year-round.
Perfect for a cozy breakfast nook, a country kitchen, or a gift for someone who finds their soul in the autumn air.
